Did you notice if you training for longer periods of time you getting ill?
"There is no doubt that engaging in regular physical activities improves our health. Exercising increases the production of white blood cells, which are responsible for our immune response to infections. whilst this is true it is only true up to a certain point. When we increase the duration and intensity of our workouts, our immune system actually gets weaker."
What is your opinion and experiance?

I think it was Olympic Decathlete Daley Thompson who remarked that there is a fine line between peak performance and being run down. I have often found myself becoming ill – normally coughs and colds – through overtraining. I’m getting better at keeping on the right side of the line now I’m getting older. That’s primarily due to a (partial) shift in thinking from seeing my body as an enemy to be conquered to seeing my body as a partner. I listen to the guidance of those aches, pains and general scene of fatigue in a way that I didn’t in the past. I’m better for it too. In training I think there is “clever-hard” and “stupid-hard”. I’m slightly better at distinguishing between the two these days :-)
