Bunkai Empi - first sequence

Hi guys!

He is a news video, thins time on the fist sequence of the kata Empi in karate shotokan or Wanshu in wado-ryu.

Working on a grab and going out of the axis to make him defficult to make a strike just after grabbing me.

Looking forward to got your feedback.

Thanks for sharing, Lionel. I no longer practice Enpi, although I learned a version of it in the past. Even so, I very much like your application! Striking the groin to weaken the arm, dropping the opponent with an armbar, wrenching the arm to bring the head into the punch. All very old-school stuff. Have you considered using the stance to also break the opponent's structure? Not that it's strictly necessary, but something to think about if you haven't already. The step to what we used to call mitsurin-dachi allows you to drive your knee into the back of your opponent's.

Thanks for your input Wastelander.  I will try to add some the stance as you said. I am doing it on other bunkai but not on this one. Missed that! Thanks.
