Martial Arts Intelligence

Hi All,

Today I’m bringing you something a little bit different that will be a game changer for anyone that wants to prevent injury and give their body exactly what it needs to perform.

I have worked with Donnie Abel for years conducting seminars in North Carolina (you’ll know him from some of my YouTube videos i.e. https://youtu.be/QTylEbWOjlY).

Donnie, together with his wife Patti, own Abel Wellness, a health and wellness studio specializing in pain free movement, martial arts, and Pilates.

Donnie’s knowledge of the human body and how to fine tune it for maximum performance is amazing! It’s a topic I could talk to him about for hours.

It’s important for modern martial artists to think about the way they train … and if there is a better way, then we’d be mad not to adopt it!

Over the last 30 years Donnie has had the pleasure of working with many martial artists all of whom were ready to do one thing ... change their mindset, change the way they train, and change the way they work out.

Einstein is credited with saying, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results.” Now, it wasn’t actually Einstein who said that, but that makes it no less wise! If we want better results, we need to be open to better ways to training our bodies.

What Donnie does isn’t going to be for everyone. Some people are happy to train inefficiently and keep those injuries rolling along. Donnie is seeking a different kind of martial artist: the ones who come to the dojo every single week (or day even) and wanted to FINALLY master their discipline, overcome that stiff shoulder or knee and take their punch or kick to the next level. He knows that they have likely tried every option out there to perform how they do in their dreams. He also knows they have a big vision that requires a body that feels GOOD with abundant energy, stamina, and strength so they can finally start excelling towards their goals. But, getting that body takes action, and you got to know what the first step is to get started.

That’s where his new Abel Wellness app comes in!

I am excited to announce launch of The Martial Arts Intelligence App! An app that can take you from “Here” to “Where You Know You Want To Be”.

Most of us realise that you don’t maximize your potential by technique alone. You maximize your results by giving your body what it needs to perform! The skilled swordsman needs a good sword! If your body is your weapon, then it too needs to be sharp and in great condition!

Injury prevention, release techniques, balancing workouts that strengthen and increase flexibility and prepare your body to bounce back after taking a punch or throw. All of this is included in the app.

As a friend and member of my community Donnie wants to offer a special promotion. Get a year's access to the Martial Arts Intelligence App for $99 (this week only!). Once the app is launched to the public the price will go up to $124.99 per year.

There is a crazy amount of content in the app with loads and loads of intelligent routines you can follow along with. The first time I opened it I was blown away! I have also really enjoyed exploring the HUGE amount of content and following along with the routines.

The five minutes “in a pinch” strengthening workout is great for times when you literally have “just 5 mins” (I’m a big fan of “micro training” in addition to the longer sessions). The 30 min “mat workout” is also a favourite of mine! It needs nothing but a towel to do and it’s a work of genius! There is loads of other workouts to help guide your training and it’s all instantly accessible from your phone!

I’ll let Donnie explain it all in more detail. This video is well worth the eight minutes it takes to watch it:
