Practical Karate Weekly needs you!

Hi All,

As you may or may not know, I’ve recently set up “Practical Karate Weekly”. The way this works is that I submit approved feeds to the website that makes the “newspaper”. They then automatically collate those feeds and present in a weekly newspaper format. I have to say I’m pretty impressed with how it works and found myself spending quite a bit of time reading my newly created newspaper!

It looks great on computers and devices such as ipads and iphones. You can access the latest edition via this link:

A new edition is programmed to automatically generate each Thursday. If you like what you see, and don’t want to miss any issues, then subscribe via the above link so you are emailed each time a new issue is out. My twitter followers (@iainabernethy.com) will also be automatically tweeted (nothing automated for Facebook I’m afraid). If you are not a twitter user, you may want to consider creating an account, following me, and then turning notifications for my tweets on. That way you’ll get a text message sent directly to your phone (all free!).

Anyhow, I’ve picked what I consider to be some of the best information sourses out there for us pragmatically minded karateka types. However, if you feel I’ve missed anything please post in this thread? What we are after if rss feeds, twitter accounts, YouTube channels, etc. Not simply names of people, specific articles or websites. If there is no feed, then the site obviously can’t pick up that feed.

Not all the feeds I’ve entered will feature in every issue as that’s not how their algorithm works. So there may be some that I’ve already entered that you can’t see in this issue.

So what do you think? Is this a service that will be useful to out community? What would make it better? Are there any key feeds we are missing?

All the best,

Iain
