Reflections on the First Ryukyu Martial Arts Friendship Gasshuku

This past weekend, we hosted an event that I put together--with no prior experience with such things--to bring martial artists from different styles together to train and learn from each other. Here is my write-up of the event:

Sounds great! The way martial arts brings people together (so we can practice tearing each other apart :-) is one of the often overlooked benefits of practise.

Yes, I was very happy with how it turned out, and I'm hoping to make it even bigger and better next year! We had some people who had to cancel, but hopefully with the proper planning we will be able to get them to come to the next one.
