The return of the training diary!

Hi all,

I haven't relented on our regular class diaries. So on the assumption that some of you may still be interested in what we get up to I will continue where I more or less left off on the previous forum. I have tried to provide links and resources, which I hope will be helpful.

Hi Jamie,

Good post and I particularly liked the following line:

Jamie Clubb wrote:

There are no absolutes in our training, as there aren’t in real-life situations, but there are principles I have seen generally remain consistent.

Thanks for sharing these here. Always thought provoking!

All the best,

Iain

Glad you liked it Iain. This is my writing at its most raw; note form if you like. The expression "martial science" is banded around a lot, but in order for us to aspire to science we need to accept no absolutes in our training and be wary of what Kathryn Schulz called in "Being Wrong", "The Lure of Certainty".
