I thought the good people of this forum would find this video interesting.
As well as being just a great breakdown of a fantastic boxer I find "Trick #4" at approximately 5:10 quite pertinent to how Iain approachs bunkai. I think it has parallels with the way the hands work in kata, setting datums, clearing obstructions and generally being "busy" rather than a passive chin high "guard". There are quite a few videos out there on how boxers and MMA fighters (even when hamstrung by having gloves on) use trapping and controlling hand fighting to open up lines of attack and restrict defensive options.
Oh and have the sound on as the tune used on that video is fantastic. :)
