Sanjusan Temple, Golden pavillion, kyomizu dera temple, graves of the 47 Ronin, Akusaka temple, Gion district, Hiroshima museum, try a hot spring in Hanoke near Mt Fuji, Get doen to Musashi's grave and Reigando cave where he lived. Osaka Castle, Nijo Castle with the squeeky floors.

These are just some of the great places I enjoyed as a martial artist. There were others, so google everything you might want to do, find out when it opens/closes. Some things were closed on Mondays.
