NOW SOLD OUT: On Sunday the 18^th of December 2016 I will be teaching an open seminar in Thornton, Lancashire! The seminar will look at the joint locking techniques and principles of the Heian / Pinan series to include locks, escapes from locks, flow drills and practise drills.It will be a good introduction to this under explored aspect of karate. Instructors will also find the techniques and drills will be very useful in bringing this side of karate to their students. Iain is also going to bring some ‘power striking’ into the session, an approach that will be new and an eye opener to many karateka.

The seminar will run from 11.00 to 3.00 in Studio 3 at YMCA THORNTON HEALTH AND FITNESS CENTRE (Thornton Cleveleys), Victoria Road East, Thornton, Lancashire, FY5 3SX.
