The University of St. Andrews Aikido club is hosting Rory Miller for a seminar on infighting and his new "Structure and Void" class, on the 29th & 30th January.

Open Seminar with Martin Morrison

I will be hosting a seminar with Martin Morrison of Mushin Ryu Self Defence (https://www.facebook.com/MushinRyuSelfDefence) on Saturday 13th March 2016.  The seminar will run from 11.00 a.m. until 3.00 p.m and will be £30 per person.  The venue will be St Stephen's Church Hall, St Stephen's Road, Steeton, Keighley, West Yorkshire BD20 6SB.

Open Seminar Of old style Okinawan karate - Naihanchi kata

On the 24th of April 2016 I will be teaching an open Seminar on the defensive & counter offensive applications of Naihanchi kata, with influence from Fujian White Crane Kung Fu. The seminar will take place at my dojo at: Serbian Orthodox church, Heap Street, Boothtown, Halifax. HX3 6JE The session will start at 10am - 2pm, and costs £10 pp for the four hours training. The session will begin with pad drills & two person exercises which will inform the close quarter applications which follow.

Naihanchi Shodan Bunkai Webinar

Hello everyone,

My Sensei--Richard Poage (Renshi, Godan, Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan)--and I will be hosting a Skype webinar, covering applications for Naihanchi Shodan, at 1pm (MST/AZ, USA Time Zone) on February 6th, 2016. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 10 Skype connections, but you're welcome to bring a partner to watch the feed with you and practice the techniques as we go. The cost will be $50, there will be some additional time for questions at the end of the session, and all attendees will get free access to a High Definition recording of the seminar for later reference.
