On July 7th 2005, my brother (Andrew Abernethy) was onboard one of the Tube Trains involved in the London Bombings. He suffered numerous wounds and needed medical attention to remove shards of glass from his body. However, he was ultimately one of the lucky ones. Upon finally escaping from the tube, he was one of the first to give an interview to BBC television and radio.
