Such a shame, too. The guy has quite good blocks and redirections of attacks. Against the first guy that pushes him, if he was just to had some strike, or sweep, or press the advantage he gets (as he does get almost behing the "attacker"), he could teach that.
Why do people believe this $h#&. I don't get it. I feel today with modern scientific method and understanding that people would be able to detect snake oil. Maybe 100 years ago you kind of fool people, but now. I don't believe he is trying to trick anyone. It look like they really believe what they are doing.

I think that the main reason is because people want to believe it. Hell, I want to believe it! How cool would it be if there truly was a force we could use to protect ourselves with so easily? No need to train hard! No chance of getting hit! Just “use the force” and all will be well. I’d love it if it was true! Who doesn’t want to be a Jedi! ;-) It’s not true though, and that’s the point.
As much as we may want to believe, we can’t because it is demonstrable nonsense. The problem is when critical thinking and empirical testing are put to one side so people can enjoy believing without reality irritating making an appearance to point out it is all BS.
It’s an interesting video which once again shows that this “martial magic” never works on anyone other than students of those who peddle it.
All the best,
Iain

With a sceptic opponent you'd need something a little more convincing.

Honestly, why do you think the training partners do fall when stared at by the ki practitioner?
