You can’t steal that which was given :-) “Learnt” would be a better word than “stole”. There also comes a point where people make something their own. I share with the hope that people will do just that. I want to have a positive influence. Very kind and considerate of you to make the comments you did. I do appreciate it, but it’s not necessary. I’m just glad you like it :-)
Thanks for sharing the video here! I look forward to seeing the series take shape.
I use "stole" as kind of a joke. I did modify the technique slightly, but I didn't feel like it was enough to call it my own. As always, thank you for the kind words Iain. I really appreciate it. And any input you have would be greatly appreciated as well.
Great stuff! Thank you for posting! I really like chin grab throw ( Hachi Mawashi variation) at about 1:04 in your video. I've found when I do it on experienced grapplers it's necessary to pin or control the front leg with my stance until I've gotten the balance and structure broken completely. All the best, Jeb
Hi Jeb! Thanks for the kind words. I completely agree with needing to pin their leg with your stance. I also find it helpful to just hit the guy a third time. It helps...persuade him to cooperate.
