Hi all,
I've recently uploaded a video which shows my take on a number of applications for sequences found in Sochin Kata (the Shotokan version). It starts with a simple application for shuto-uke as a lapel grab defence and then builds up over with three more progressions. Please note these are just surface level explanations and the concepts/principles/techniques/variations of each application are not explored in detail in the video, however hope there is enough in there to give you a look into the way I approach kata and some useful applications for you to play/experiment with!
Best wishes!
Leigh
Hi,
Thanks for this, I have just posted a comment regarding Sochin, so it will be interesting to watch your ideas :)
