Tate shuto uke (vertical kinfe-hand "block") has many uses, one of which is to locate a target such as a head. In this practical pad drill, a jab cross is followed by a duck under a hook punch. After the duck, the tate shuto is used to locate the head (pad) for a finishing blow.
Very nice!
This is a cool drill, I can think of a lot of variation with the basic jab cross, weave, shuto I'll definitely be trying it.
