Gonna do the final one in the Pyung Ahn series in December and really excited, thank you for the support Sahbumnim. Always appreciate your help and support
Sorry for the delay. We filmed this in December so it was very rough, then we re did the class in January and it was far better but I accidently lost footage. So here is all the footage I have from a breakdown in Pyung Ahn Oh Dan. I'm not happy with it but I will try and re film soon and update. I hope there are some ideas in there but this is still early stages of these ideas
I know I haven't posted for a while but here is the start of Bassai applications. Hope you enjoy, can't wait to be able to teach this sequence to my class
That seminar seems so long ago! I remember us taking about this drill and I’m glad that you’ve now had the chance to film it. Thanks for posting and sharing! It flows well!
The Seminar inspired me a lot to put my thoughts together, Will film second part soon and hopefully we will see you again sooner rather than later in person
Here is Part two of Bassai flow drill, next job is to put the two together with multiple attackers, but this is a long way off yet. Hope it all makes sense
new video on the chop, I know Shotokan has a similar rising movement but many japanese styles don't and i even saw a TSD practitioner who missed it out which is what promoted me to make the video.
Great video Gus! Some interesting variations on a drill many of us here know.
Shame I missed the class!
Keep it up Gus!

It's a shame you lost the January footage but what you have posted isn't that bad. I enjoyed both sessions!

Hmm some people might think we filmed that in a single take on the spur of the moment about five minutes after inventing it. Oh hang on we did :-)

Great material on the Bassai form. Thank you for sharing this.
Here is a way of putting some of my Pyung Ahn Hyung applications into a boxing pad drill
hope you enjoy
I do enjoy drills like that. A fun way to train and it’s always good to integrate the striking with the grappling. Thanks for sharing!
All the best,
Iain
