Hi everyone, I know this isn't karate, but thought it might be of interest to everyone here. On 23rd April a wrestling colleague and I will be running a small seminar in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, on the practical application of folk wrestling to self defence. We will be covering Irish Collar and Elbow, Cumberland and Westmorland/Backhold, and American Folkstyle, and looking not only at techniques, but also how the rule sets and training methods can be used to our advantage in our training to develop skills needed for self defence.
