Bunkai Concept: Opposing Forces

Hello everyone,

This week's Waza Wednesday takes a look at a concept for your kata bunkai (analysis) that shows up frequently in kata--exerting force in opposite directions. Obviously, the most basic of these is the hikite (pulling hand) while punching, but there are many other iterations. We show two simple examples of how this can be used, to give some ideas of what types of things you can consider in your analysis.
