I know that kobudo kata applications tend to be less-often explored than karate kata applications, but my Sensei likes to share them from time to time, anyway. This week's Waza Wednesday takes a look at a sequence taken from Kubo no Kon, although similar sequences can be found in other bojutsu kata, as well. Essentially, the technique is a basic deflection, which can be used against wide array of attacks and melee weapons, followed by three strikes in rapid succession, which can be aimed at a variety of targets.
