Hello everyone,
This week's Waza Wednesday is an application for the sequence in Kusanku that comes right before the one-legged turn. The technique utilizes kobo ittai (attack and defense at the same time) to enter into head control in order to apply a lock, or take the opponent down and strike them. We show the technique used against a haymaker, but as always, the attack is less important than positioning, points of contact, and direction of energy.
