Hello everyone,
We had someone ask us to show some techniques against pushes and shoves, so this week's Waza Wednesday takes a look at just a few options. These techniques use several concepts found in kata, although they aren't strictly kata applications. Of course, these aren't the only ways to respond to pushes and shoves, and these techniques can be used against other attacks, as well.
Very nice. All the techniques/principles flow seemlessly into the next. I especially like how the nami gaeshi comes naturally with the side step to stop the attackers leg.
