Hi All,
Here is a good clip on using the “stability ball” to improve groundwork. The Judo group that I am a member of make use of the balls in this way and it’s impressive to watch the fulltime guys work the balls for balance, core strength and manoeuvrability.

wow, all of them impressive in different ways. The aussie in the last clip - well I was just as impressed by his speedball work nevermind the fact that he was standing on a swiss ball at the same time.
I did a BJJ seminar with Tom Oberhue (the guy introducing the first video but not doing the rolling) many years ago.
He has taken the concept of pressure and really studied it. Different types, how to apply it, counter it. A very cerebral grappler.
I can't remember the name of the show richard Hammond does, but there is a bit where they have to jump onto 4 large sprung balls and usually fall in the water after the first. I bet the Aussie guy could do that part no problem.
Tom at one time was working with a group that I am learning from now, the Straight Blast Gym (SBGi). Great all around. They have a way of analyzing what a lot of people don't even thin kto look at. And they come up with ways of coaching it that makes sense and makes learning easy. I'd recommend any of his vids for grappling. nice one.
Ah yes...I used to train at Combat Base in Pontefract and I went to a seminar at SBG in Manchester.
Matt Thornton, Tom Oberhue and some other guys were there. Tom's ideas on pressure have really stuck with me although I can't apply them for toffee. :)
