On Saturday the 15th of March I am teaching a joint seminar with Dan Lewis 6th dan. The seminar will run from 11am to 5pm and will be held in Portishead Dojo, Unit 2, Harbour Road Trading Estate, Portishead, BS20 7BL. This session is open to all grades and styles (adults only) and previous knowledge of the kata being covered is not necessary. The seminar will consist of 6 X 50 minute sessions and will cover arm-control and grappling drills from Kushanku / Kanku-Dai, Sanchin and the Chinese influence, Kake (pushing and sticky hands), karate takedowns, power training, and developing a knockout hook punch.
