British Combat Karate Assocation Info Packs

Please find below all the latest information on Peter Consterdine’s & Geoff Thompson’s British Combat Karate Association! I’ve copied the enquiry letter and the advert that recently ran in the UK’s martial arts press below. The information pack and application form have also been uploaded to this website and they can be downloaded from the links below:

The BCA (British Combat Association) has undoubtedly had a bigger impact on UK martial arts than any other body and I’m really excited about the positive effects I see the British Combat Karate Association having. I strongly feel the British karate scene needs an organisation like this and I’m sure it will be of interest to many of you.

Please check out the downloads and the information below and if you have any questions Peter will be only to happy to answer them. He can be reached at peter@peterconsterdine.com or by phone on 01924266016 or 07831576509. You can also write to the BCKA at BCKA, 12b Wellgate, Ossett, Wakefield, WF5 8NS.

All the best,

Iain

Dear Instructor,

BCKA LogoThank you for your enquiry and please find enclosed our Information Pack, which I hope you will find of interest.

The BCKA is built on the foundations of its sister organisation the British Combat Association (BCA) which, since its inception in 1993 has been groundbreaking in its approach not only to the high level of service and support to its Instructors, but in its non-political philosophy.

The Association has been established to cater for all disciplines within the world of Karate and we would hope to be able to provide you and your students with the home you are looking for.

As you will see, the information contained in the brochure is presented on the basis of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), but it is likely that you may have a number of queries that the brochure doesn’t answer and please feel free to get in touch and I have provided my mobile phone number at the end of the letter.

I am sure that you will find that the BCKA offers you all that you would expect from a major association, from the usual range of comprehensive insurances, gradings and coaching (via the EKF/SKGB Coaching programmes), tournaments, courses, regular newsletter and club promotion through our prestigious website. All this and more is supported by a highly efficient and supportive administration with speedy turnaround of student licences and club registration. We are always available to talk through any issues and are more than happy to help with syllabus development.

Also enclosed with the brochure are sample licence/record book and grading certificate, together with the Association’s Bye-Laws and sample student membership application sheet.

So, don’t hesitate to get in touch with any query and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Peter Consterdine 8th Dan

Chairman and Joint-Chief Instructor
